WEDDINGS & EVENTS
The Knotted Apron is a rustic Uptown Whittier wedding ceremony, reception, and private event venue. The venue is surrounded by high brick walls and is tucked away in its private and exclusive location––on Greenleaf Ave. in the middle of Philadelphia and Bailey Street.
Entering the front door, guests walk down a long hallway until they reach two large wood and glass doors. In opening the doors, the guest will see stairs that lead up to an open patio that is nestled in between tall brick walls. At night, the hanging lights are illuminated and provide a warm atmosphere for any occasion and give character to the chandelier that hangs above.
Events takes place in the Patio area, where 80 to 100 guests can be seated. The spacious area is surrounded by high brick white walls and two adjacent indoor rooms. The industrial style brick white walls serve as the backdrop for a wedding ceremony and reception. If a dance area is needed, Weddings and or events with more than 100 guest often use the lounge and upper deck area for additional sitting.
The lounge is connected to the patio area and is divided by two large windows looking outward to the patio area. The lounge is perfect for additional sitting or be used as a cocktail reception area. The lounge can sit up to 56 guest comfortably.
THE upper deck
The upper deck is located by the patio area. A small flight of stairs will lead your guest to the upper deck and the views are of the patio area and kitchen/bar area. The upper deck is a perfect area to set up cocktails tables and couches. The upper deck can sit up to 24 guest comfortably.
The kitchen is connected to the patio area. The kitchen interior has exposed brick and its a perfect area for the bar as well as food and desserts.
